Boys: Collingwood vs. South Kamloops

Friday was a good day for the Cavs as they earned the #1 ranking in AA basketball in B.C. They then promptly went out and demonstrated why. Leading South Kam, the school that produced the Boston Celtics Kelly Olynyk, 49-43 at the turn the host increased the lead to 68-56 until actually losing the 4th quarter 16-13 for an 81-72 win. Of note is that Sarai of South Kam had 8 threes in the game and not one 2-point field goal. Talk about a specialist! Player-of-the-Game Jaden Narwal had 32 points for Collingwood and teammate Ben Basran chipped in a mittful of threes. Cavs Coach Andy Wong was unable to provide a post-game quote as he was too stressed trying to figure out how his team was going to play on Saturday missing two key players to exams.
